Volunteer Facilitators Needed! - Energy Sustainability Activation 💡

Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and interested in educating others about energy efficiency? Join us as a volunteer facilitator for the Watt It Down: Home Edition! This exciting simulation engages participants in hands-on learning experiences, empowering them to optimize energy usage and promote sustainability in their homes and communities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate a group of students from primary and secondary schools.
• Guide students through interactive activities and discussions, helping them understand energy efficiency concepts and develop practical strategies for conservation.
• Assist participants in navigating unexpected challenges and brainstorming solutions to achieve energy efficiency goals.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to share ideas, ask questions, and engage with the simulation effectively.

Requirements:

• Passion for environmental sustainability and energy conservation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to facilitate group activities and discussions in an engaging and inclusive manner.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of students during the simulation sessions.
• Fast-paced & quick learner.
• Preferably: Able to speak both English and Bahasa.

We are looking for volunteers for these locations & times:

• Melaka: 22 - 27th July

For Volunteers:

• Volunteer allowance + meal allowance (2x a day) are provided.
• Accommodation is provided, and priority will be given to volunteers that are NOT from the programme state.
