Summary
We are looking for teachers who are able to teach lessons to orphans aged 7-12 (Standard 1-6).Detailed description
Teacher
You must be available to teach two classes of 45 mins per week. We need teachers for the following subjects:
- STEM/STEAM
- Workshop (Practical life skills)
- Art
- Science
- Mathematics
This is a paid volunteer postion. We provide you with an allowance to cover your transportation costs.
We operate from 2 locations in the Klang Valley: Setiawangsa & Seputeh
Prerequisites
You must be able to commit to teaching in both of our locations.
You must also be able to speak Malay/BM at least to a conversational level.
You must be available during our operating times which are, Monday to Thursday 2pm-5pm.
Our after-school project benefits:
- Orphans
- Children from low-income families (B40)
- Children from single parent homes
- Children with behavioural difficulties (truancy, expulsions etc.)
- Children with learning difficulties who may need tailored support in their studies.
- Refugee children
