Summary

Every Saturday from 8am to 1030am, kids aged 5-18 from the Kelana Jaya community come over to train. We need life coaches to help connect with the kids

Detailed description

This is a simple volunteering opportunity for anyone who will be able to connect with the kids on a personal basis to encourage them, push them to their potential and discuss some of their challenges and issues and be a friend to them. There are numerous orphanages that send their kids for these training sessions, so it would be great to have life coaches to help and just be a guide and support to these kids in addition to the football coaches

Getting there

The field is located across Jalan Bahagia, next to a playground and futsal court. If lost, call Lee Horng - +601133074758

About Everton in the Community

Everton in the Community Malaysia is a social organization helping poor and marginalized kids learn leadership through sports. Each week, kids are taught football skills led by chief coach, late William De Cruz, who was trained by the Everton Academy team in Liverpool, UK. He spent time at Finch Farm to learn how to develop kids and together with volunteers from around the area, they inspire and teach kids not just football and sports skills but also leadership and life lessons to help them grow into productive citizens and leaders of the community. Currently the program is continued by Mr Shawn, a certified AFC C and TheFA level 1 (England) coach and can be contacted directly at 012 660 7617 DynaCentric Services.
