About Everton in the Community

Everton in the Community Malaysia is a social organization helping poor and marginalized kids learn leadership through sports. Each week, kids are taught football skills led by chief coach, late William De Cruz, who was trained by the Everton Academy team in Liverpool, UK. He spent time at Finch Farm to learn how to develop kids and together with volunteers from around the area, they inspire and teach kids not just football and sports skills but also leadership and life lessons to help them grow into productive citizens and leaders of the community.
