Help with Setup or Take pictures and videos for an event with Artists with Disabilities.

Detailed description

We will be organising an Artist Mingle and we are excited to invite you as a volunteer to our exclusive event that unites artists and enthusiasts to champion inclusive art regardless of abilities.


Tasks


Choice 1:

Come on 6th October 6:30pm - 8:30PM to help with the event setup (Putting up the art Exhibition for the Artists with disabilities)


Choice 2:

Take pictures and videos of the event from 9:30 am to 12:30pm

What You'll Do:

  • Capture candid moments during the event
  • Document panel sessions and discussions
  • Record the vibrant atmosphere of the art exhibition
  • Showcase the creativity of our participants
  • Help us tell the story of inclusivity through your lens


We believe that your artistic eye can help us share the magic of "Artist Mingle" with a wider audience, furthering our mission of creating a more accessible and inclusive world.

  • Time: 10.00am - 2.00pm
  • Venue: Lyf Raja Chulan Kuala Lumpur



Parking

There is an open space parking lot next to the Lyf Raja Chulan building. However, the space is limited and we would like to give priority to wheelchair-users. Alternatively, we have listed some parking options within 3-5 minute walk to the venue;

  • Menara Olympia (covered parking) 
  • CP Parking (outdoor parking)




Apart from the sharing sessions, there will be a pop-up exhibition of artworks by the PWD artists called the Art&We exhibition and art merchandise for sale. There will also be a Crochet Workshop for beginners (materials provided), slots are limited so it will be on a first come first serve basis. For any inquiries, please contact us here.

About NAKSENI

NAKSENI is derived from the words "Anak Seni”, Malay words which translates to “Children of Art”. The word "Nak" here also means and implies the "need" or "want" of art in everyday life. It also refers to the child-like wonder and imagination that our artists have, regardless of their age.

We celebrate the talents of these gifted youth by giving you a chance to take home a piece of their art. We are also open to custom orders and collaborations for corporate and community events. Our goal is to elevate the status of PWD (Persons With Disabilities) artists and build a community of individuals who can spread positive influence. NAKSENI is the sister company and business arm to WE&I Art, an art collective of PWD artists.
