A safe, supportive and structured learning space for unsupervised and at-risk children and teens to grow and thrive outside school hours while parent/s work.

We are looking for volunteers to join our Shelter After School (SAS) Programme!

SAS offers meaningful opportunities in education, community outreach, and youth engagement, especially for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of at-risk children and underserved communities.

Volunteers may be involved in:

  • Facilitating homework sessions and providing tutoring in core subjects such as English, Malay, and Mathematics for primary and secondary students.
  • Leading or assisting with educational and enrichment activities, including life skills, digital literacy, creative arts, character building, and more.
  • Conducting team-building games and game-based learning activities that encourage social interaction, teamwork, and active engagement among children and teenagers.

From guiding a student with their homework, reading with a child through our literacy programme, to providing tuition support for students who are struggling academically, there is something for everyone!

Whether you can share a skill, lend a helping hand, or simply be a positive and encouraging presence, you can make a meaningful difference!
