Summary

We are currently recruiting passionate teachers to teach Bahasa Melayu to our Agathians students.

Detailed description

The support of Agathians Chelter is its volunteers, and we welcome volunteers from all backgrounds to teach on the given dates and timing to teach our children!


Requirement of volunteers

  • Pre-university qualification (minimum)
  • 18 years old and above
  • They must be well-versed in the KSSR syllabus - Penulisan & Pemahaman.
  • Very creative and uses unconventional teaching methods.
  • When volunteering to work with children, it's important to possess certain qualities and skills, such as, patience, flexibility, communication skills, teamwork and etc.
  • Able to commit 1 hour weekly on slot availability.
  • You are welcome to join us and teach more than once a week.


You can choose either:

  • 10.00 am to 12.00 pm (Weekend and school holidays only), OR
  • 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm (Weekend and school holidays only), OR
  • 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm

About Agathians Shelter

In this home of ours, we ensure our children get the basic needs such as shelter, food and education. They are educated to catch up on missed years of schooling we feel that these three are essentials for their basic living

Besides, our children have talent and interest in curriculum activities such as music, arts, dance, sports, martial arts, information technologies and also in living skills. Ranging from multimedia tools to carpentry, they are being equipped with skills and hobbies as to develop a positive mind-set in their life.
